The addition of a certain amount of titanium to the steel has the ability to resist intergranular corrosion. • Phosphorus (P): Phosphorus is a harmful element in steel, which increases the cold brittleness of steel, deteriorates weldability, reduces plasticity, and deteriorates cold bending performance. In general, the lower the phosphorus content in the steel, the better. • Sulfur (S): Sulfur is a harmful element in steel, which makes the steel brittle and reduces the ductility and toughness of the steel. Therefore, the sulfur content should be kept as low as possible. • Nitrogen (N): Nitrogen increases steel strength, low temperature toughness and weldability.
