The stainless steel seamless pipe is a long strip of steel with a hollow section and no seams around it.
According to different production methods, it can be divided into hot rolled pipe, cold rolled pipe, cold drawn pipe and extruded pipe.
Stainless steel seamless pipe manufacturing process:
1. Hot rolling (extrusion seamless steel pipe): round billet → heating → perforation → three-roll cross-rolling, continuous rolling or extrusion → pipe removal → sizing (or reducing diameter) → cooling → straightening → hydraulic test (or flaw detection) → mark → warehousing.
2. Cold drawn (rolled) seamless steel pipe: round tube blank → heating → perforation → head → annealing → pickling → oiling (copper plating) → multi-pass cold drawing (cold rolling) → blank tube → heat treatment → straightening →Hydraulic pressure test (inspection) → mark → storage.Stainless steel seamless pipe, is an austenitic stainless steel pipe. It has excellent heat resistance in raised temperatures.
Stainless steel pipe are widely used in pipeline construction, oil and chemical industry, nuclear technology, and boiler making industry. The increased carbon content delivers a greater tensile and yield strength.
The austenitic structure of stainless steel also gives it excellent toughness, even down to cryogenic temperatures. We supply and manufacture this pipe with a wide range of sizes, from 10.0mm to 1219mm.
The wall thickness of stainless steel seamless pipe ranges from 0.5mm to 100mm. The common length of each pipe is 5.8m, 6.0m, 11.8m, 12m. The maximum length we produce is up to 18m.
We can produce seamless stainless steel pipes in strict accordance with ASTM, EN, JIS, DIN standard to meet clients' different requirements.
Stainless Steel Seamless Pipe is the most common product, which can be cut to size and pipe with polished finish is also available. A lot of processing services, including punching, painting, beveling, chamfering are all available for us.
