Permitted Tolerance for Stainless Steel Hot Rolled Angles

1. Weight

1.1 For angles of 9.0 kg/m[6 lb/ft] or less, the weight tolerances shall not exceed+/-7.5%.

1.2 For angles over 9.0 kg/m[6 lb/ft], the weight tolerances shall not exceed+/-7.5%.

2. Length of Legs

2.1 For stainless steel angles having legs or flanges up to 150 mm [6 in.], the length tolerance shall not exceed +/-3.00mm[+/-0.125in.] 

2.2 For stainless steel angles having legs or flanges over 150mm, the length tolerance shall not exceed +5.00mm[0.1875in.] and -3.00mm[0.125in.]

3. Squareness of Legs

3.1 The tolerance for the right angle between the legs is+/-2°.

Angle bars are packed according to the customer's requirement. To avoid any damage which might be caused during international transportation, we provide some optional packaging methods, including woven bags, plywood cases, and wooden boxes。
